Privacy Policy

Data we process

• Account data: email address, account identifier, authentication sessions, and password recovery requests. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes.
• Device and sync data: nearby-device identifiers, device type and name, connection status, device configuration, and sequences you choose to sync.
• App activity and diagnostics: an app-instance identifier, signed-in user identifier, app version, device model, operating-system version, screens and actions used, connection events, errors, and diagnostic logs.
• Network data: IP address, user agent, and request metadata processed by our servers and infrastructure providers.
• Recordings: camera, microphone, and screen recordings are saved locally. They leave your device only when you choose to share them through another app.

Permissions

• Bluetooth and nearby-device permissions are used to discover, connect to, and control compatible hardware. Older Android versions may require approximate or precise location permission for Bluetooth scanning; the app does not collect GPS coordinates.
• Notification and foreground-service permissions keep an active device connection visible and operating when requested.
• Camera, microphone, and screen-capture access is used only when you start the recording feature.
• Network and local-network access supports account sync, diagnostics, compatible LAN devices, and product content.

• Provide account access, device control, synchronization, support, and requested features.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve reliability.
• Measure feature performance and understand aggregate app usage.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Service providers and transfers

We use contracted infrastructure, cloud storage, email delivery, and analytics providers to operate the service. These providers process data only for the services they provide to us. Service operation may involve processing outside your country or region, subject to appropriate safeguards.

The Google Play edition communicates with our service APIs over HTTPS. Bluetooth and local-network communication with hardware uses the protocols supported by that hardware.

Retention and deletion

Account and synchronized data is retained while your account remains active. Operational and diagnostic records are retained only as needed for reliability, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Account deletion removes your account, active sessions, synced devices, and synced sequences; records that must be retained are disconnected from the deleted account where practical.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your personal data. You can decline optional permissions in Android settings. Contact us to exercise a privacy right.
